  • Actualy it's Jennifer Steele Michaels Daughter. This place is a blessing to have in the community.i have been. Blesser by not needing their services but I have met residents many of them and even worked with one. Out of the huge company we were employed by the most honest hard working and trust worthy employee was a resident here. Polite and appreciative is all I have ever witnessed from anyone in that home. I make multiple trips thru out the year . Things new old and practical and odd ball items .. always greeted with a smile and arms to unload my things. I can't get to a bag before they do. They live with rules and morals and ethics . They teach and they make everyone participate in taking care of the home and each other.. bravo and impressive .. I have not yet donated a thing to anywhere not church not anywhere since I stumbled across this home.. they are a huge part of this community and a huge part of what's good in this less than comforting world

  • The Mission in Citrus shelters are a cut above all other shelters I have worked with during my last three decades of volenteer work. I have assisted in three states and am very excited to see the level of dedicated service to both Veteran's as well as non-veterans in need. They do not just assist with the basics of food and shelter. They provide a multitude of services and referrals to help people in need help themselves. Jim Sleighter and his team of volenteers give homeless vets and people in need the tools to get back on track. I know, besides being a volenteer I have also been a homeless veteran. Please support the professional people here who use donations and resources to make success and hope a daily thought and word again. David. B

  • Open arms and open hearts is what I found when I first came here. Which I truly beleive I probably would not be alive today if not for Jims understanding and lovibg ways. I could never thank him enough for what he has done for me.
